COURSE OBJECTIVES
This short course will introduce the student to the concepts of an error/event reporting system. Methods of reporting, investigation, and feedback will be covered. Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
* Describe the benefits of an error reporting system * Become familiar with error reporting systems such as MEDA, REDA, ASRS, etc. * Develop/design a basic database for error reporting * Understand the concepts of error investigation and interviewing * Understand the importance of feedback and follow-up for error investigations
