Jeff LaPoint has more than 24 years of
professional aviation and academic experience. A retired US Air Force
officer, Dr. LaPoint is currently a qualified Flight Crew Training
Instructor for a major airline instructing pilots in the state-of-the-art,
fly-by-wire Airbus A-320/A-330 and Embraer ERJ-170 aircraft. He conducts
simulator, flight training device (FTD), integrated procedures training
(IPT), and classroom instruction on aircraft systems, flight procedures, and
crew resource management. Additionally, he has instructed classes on the
FAA’s advanced communication, Future Air Navigation System (FANS) for A-330
international pilots. Dr. LaPoint has instructed at the university level as
an assistant professor of Aerospace Studies at East Carolina University,
Greenville, N.C., as well as teaching undergraduate private pilot ground
school, and computer technology classes.

Capt. Tony Dominguez has dedicated his work to aviation safety through
quality aircraft and simulator training. Specializing in “jet transition
preparation training”, and line oriented pilot safety training, he has
contributed to pilot safety for individuals and flight departments alike.
Capt. Dominguez has served as a jet aircraft instructor (Learjet) for 3 major
FAR 142 training centers. He has served both the FAA, and his training
center employer, as a Training Center Evaluator “TCE” (pilot examiner),
issuing ATP certificates and type ratings. He has also served many FAR 135 operators as
their listed Check Airman through the training centers.
Capt. Dominguez has served as a Line Captain and FAR 142 listed Check Airman
for a major Learjet freight operator. He was responsible for their longest
nightly flight from Miami-Atlanta-Chicago-Salt Lake City. He has also
served as a FAR 135 Chief Pilot for an operator with a fleet consisting of
a Lear 31, Lear 60’s, a Challenger 300, and a Gulfstream G-450. Capt. Dominguez
was the aircraft owner’s exclusive Captain for the Lear 60 and the G-450.
