Effective Communication for Safety (Course)

Our Effective Communication for Safety Course is literally a course that any person, at any level of any organization, can benefit from! Ineffective, or poor, communication can create unsafe conditions, which can lead to occurrences, incidents, accidents, or worse. This has been shown over and over again in the accident data, from the very beginning of aviation, up to and including, present day. This course provides the student with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a better communicator. This is achieved through a deep understanding of the theoretical and practical processes of communication, including verbal, written, and body language.

Communication can be the root of all evil! - Dr. Bob Baron

The two words 'information' and 'communication' are often used interchangeably, but they signify quite different things. Information is giving out; communication is getting through. - Sydney J. Harris
