Crew Resource Management Instructor (CRMI) Train-The-Trainer (5 days)

This CRM Instructor (Train-The-Trainer) course is appropriate for company personnel who would like to learn how to develop and teach CRM courses. This is a 5-day intensive course that, upon successful completion, will certify the candidate as a company CRM trainer, and be approvable as such by your CAA.

Crew Resource Management Initial (2 days)

This CRM Initial course is appropriate for flight crewmembers who have not had any previous CRM training, or have not had a CRM course for an extended period of time. We encourage an integrated class (i.e., pilots, flight attendants, dispatchers, flight-followers, non-flying management, and other positions, as/if applicable).

Crew Resource Management Recurrent (1 day)

This CRM Recurrent course is appropriate for flight crewmembers who have had Initial (or previous Recurrent) CRM training. We encourage an integrated class (i.e., pilots, flight attendants, dispatchers, flight-followers, non-flying management, and other positions, as/if applicable).

Crew Resource Management Evaluator (2 days)

This CRM Evaluator course is appropriate for company personnel who are, or will be, responsible for evaluating/assessing CRM within their flight operation. Depending on your type of operation, you may have a requirement for CRM assessments, both in the simulator and in line operations. By attending this course, the candidate will obtain the necessary skills for conducting non-technical (NOTECHS) CRM grading and assessments in simulator and line operations.

Threat and Error Management (2 days)

This Threat and Error Management (TEM) course is appropriate for company personnel who are responsible for implementing and/or teaching TEM within their flight operation. This TEM course will give the program developer and/or instructors an in-depth knowledge of what TEM is, how it's applied, and how it benefits your flight operation by proactively addressing the precursors to accidents and incidents by the effective management of threats and errors.

CRM Course Development

TACG fully understands that many operators just don't have the time, resources, or expertise to develop an effective (and Regulator-approvable) CRM course. We've got you covered! We can develop and customize a CRM course, specific to your operation, to meet your needs and requirements. All courses are developed based on current and relevant CRM issues, using the latest version of CRM, called Contemporary CRM. With Contemporary CRM, a significant emphasis is placed on threat and error management (TEM). Evidence-Based Training (EBT) also plays a huge role by focusing on external and internal data to address significant safety threats and their management.

TACG's custom-developed CRM courses are designed to keep attendees engaged, and not bore them with endless theory and/or aviation "psychobabble." While some classic accidents are inevitably discussed, things have changed quite a bit in the last few decades, especially pertaining to technology. Therefore, we focus on the current, practical issues that affect flightcrews today.

Already have a CRM program? Would you like an objective assessment of your CRM program? You have come to the right place! TACG provides unbiased assessments of CRM programs for all types of aviation operators on a worldwide basis. Our assessments include a thorough analysis of your current CRM program(s), a report of our findings, and recommendations for improvements.

Based on our results, TACG can also provide additional consulting and/or course development to help your aviation organization have the most effective CRM courses possible. Our assessments are conducted as a combination of both onsite and offsite work.

Our capabilities and methods include the following:
